towards the real-time robust identification of online malicious information campaigns using open source intelligence

Key Points

This project employs Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques combined with Social Network Analysis to identify coordinated malicious behaviour across multiple online platforms, focused on controlling human environments through the spread of mis- and disinformation. Specifically, it will develop technologies with a focus on scalability at speed through use of self-supervised and semi-supervised graph-theoretic techniques coupled with social network analytics to identify and exploit patterns across high-dimensional network structures, for the identification of latent and overt communities that form malicious information campaigns.
