Claire Ripley leads the Strategic Initiatives team at Standards Australia. The team delivers innovative cross-sector initiatives that align with national priorities, solve critical challenges and lead Standards Australia into the future – with a focus on critical and emerging technologies, the energy transition and environment.

Claire previously worked at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade from 2014-2021 in a variety of foreign, trade and development policy roles, including representing the Australian Government on diplomatic postings to New Delhi and Jakarta.

Will Giacometti is a Strategic Initiatives Officer at Standards Australia working on projects that seek to elevate the safety and trust of critical and emerging technologies through standards. Will is currently working on projects that promote Artificial Intelligence, the Metaverse and Cyber Security.
